About Mt Bethel

Mt. Bethel Elementary Schools serves over 1000 students in grades K-5. The school is located in East Cobb County and was founded in 1977.

-Mt. Bethel’s Vision is Excellence in Action!

-Support is available for students who require it through Advanced Learning Program, Special Education, Early Intervention Program and School Counselors

-Students find their passion through the wide variety of after school enrichment programs offered.

-In 2014 the physical plant received a complete renovation thanks to SPLOST funds. This included a complete overhaul with new flooring and paint throughout.

-The Library Media Center piloted the shift to Learning Commons for elementary schools in East Cobb. The new Learning Commons provides students with space to ASK. THINK. CREATE.

-Students can participate in clubs before school such as Unicycle, Jump Rope Crew and Juggling.

-The After School Program (ASP) provides a fun and safe place for students on a daily basis. This program runs from dismissal through 6pm.

– The goal of the Mt. Bethel Foundation is to provide educational enhancements to every student. The vision of the Foundation is Enrich, Empower, and Excel. Projects funded include a new turf field, a Literacy Consultant, STEAM Assistant, Teacher Grants, and Technology Improvements.

-Mt. Bethel’s PTA ensures advocacy for EVERY CHILD, ONE VOICE. This group of dedicated volunteers helps with every aspect of school. Just a few of the PTA sponsored committees include: Concert on the Green, Fun Run, Healthy Habits, Meet and Greet and Office Assistants.
