Kincaid Elementary School

Kincaid Middle School is located in East Cobb. The school serves 750 students in grades K-5.

-The Mission is: Together we RISE to success: Reach, Inspire, Support, Engage.

-Students rotate between the following “Specials” on a daily basis: PE, Music, Art, STEM.

-The Learning Commons at Kincaid empowers students to be enthusiastic readers, skillful researchers, critical thinkers and ethical users and creators of information. They strive to create an open and inviting environment where students and staff feel comfortable seeking out information related to their academic needs or personal interests.

-The purpose of the Kincaid PTA is to promote the welfare of children, to raise the standards of home life, to secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth, and to bring into closer relation the home and school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth. The money raised by the PTA funds enrichment programs/services at Kincaid. Some of these include: Celebration of the Arts, Character Education Program, Diversity and Inclusion, and Meet and Greet Healthy Choices, School Supply Packs, Yearbooks and World Explorer’s Club.

-Kincaid also has a Foundation. Their primary goal is to partner with the administration to keep our school on the cutting edge of technology. They support the school financially with educational enrichments that will boost student achievement across all grade levels. To date, the Foundation has funded a STEM lab, as well as a Science Lab. Both of these areas provide hands on learning opportunities for students.
