Murdock Elementary School

Murdock Elementary School is located in East Cobb County and serves over 950 students in grades K-5.

-The Mission of Murdock is: Empowering people to work together to learn, serve, and lead with integrity.

-Murdock uses the Leader in Me tool to teach Leadership and Life skills to create a culture of student empowerment.

-In addition to academic classes, students rotate between the following Specials: Health and Fitness, Physical Education, Music and Art.

-Murdock PTA consists of motivated parents and staff whose mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families to advocate for all children. PTA supports the school by  supplying volunteers for various programs, events and activities.

-The Mission of the Murdock Foundation is to provide resources that will enhance the learning environment and educational opportunities for students. Their Vision is: to help each child achieve their personal best, to attract and retain top teachers and staff, to help our students remain competitive locally, nationally and globally. Foundation provides funding for the Science Lab Instructor and materials as well as the technology needs for the school.

-ASP is the after school program offered from dismissal to 6pm. A snack, art activity, playtime, games, homework, and enrichment activities are all part of the program. ASP provides a safe and nurturing place for students.
