About Mabry

Mabry Middle School, located in Northeast Cobb County, is a school with a vision for “maximizing student achievement in a culture of caring”. Mabry serves 900 students and is known for academic achievement, outstanding fine arts program, varied student clubs and activities and innovations in technology. Mabry’s mission is: “Mabry has HEART: High Expectations, Achievement, Relationships, and Technology”.

Academics

Mabry students have a variety of opportunities to meet academic goals. Advanced Content, or AC classes, now include Art and Physical Science, as well as Foreign Language and Math. These are offered to gifted as well as high achieving students who do not meet gifted eligibility. Mabry uses test scores to ensure that students are placed in the most challenging environment possible.

PTSA
The goal of Mabry’s PTA is to enrich the environment for our students, families and community. Their mission is to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. Some of the events the PTSA oversees are Honor Roll Breakfast, Duty Free Lunch for teachers, Game and Movie night, International Night, Front Office Volunteers.

Connections
Mabry offers a variety of superior fine arts & connection classes which include: Art, Band, Business, Chorus, Fitness, Orchestra, PE, Study Skills and Technology. Classes are designed to prepare students in developing skills needed to be successful with academic excellence and job readiness. Each student, beginning in 6th grade, is introduced to all connection classes.

Student Activities
There are so many ways for students to get involved at Mabry. The Bee Kind Club, Culture Club, Drama Club, FBLA, Lego Robotics and Youth Leaders are just a few of the clubs that students can join. Every club is sponsored by a teacher.
